The Most Common Symptoms of Exposure

The most commonly reported symptoms of short term mold exposure are very similar to allergy symptoms because that's what they are:

  • Sneezing
  • Itching Skin
  • Redness and skin irritation
  • Watery Eyes
  • Itching Eyes
  • Headache
Most reactions are of an allergic nature and not due to the mycotoxins that molds produce in varying levels.  The more serious symptoms reported are usually a result of exposure to a contaminated environment for long periods of time.
